UWR: MP admonishes supporters to consolidate gains chalked in the 2020 elections
The member of parliament for Wa East constituency Dr Godfred Seidu Jasaw has taken time off his busy schedules to interact with his constituency executive committee led by its chairman, Abu Ballifiama, some assembly members, constituency elections and I T directorates, zonal coordinators among others.
The MP used the opportunity to thank them sincerely for the various roles they played in securing an unprecedented victory for the NDC in the constituency.
The MP itemized some of the interventions he has made so far in agriculture, education, water and health. he recounted some of the sacrifices party members and leadership made to give the party that huge victory and charged them to handle it with care.
He also admonished various party stakeholders in the constituency not to allow petty misunderstandings to break their ranks but to take conscious steps to build upon the gains made so far.
The constituency chairman, Abu Ballifiama expressed his satisfaction with the commitment of executives and supporters in annexing the seat in the 2020 elections.
As a result, no individual in his opinion can claim glory for the party’s victory in the constituency but all.
Chairman Abu Ballifiama charged the stakeholders present to always work for the collective interest of the party and not individual interest.
With unity, he was hopeful the party will dominate in the constituency for a long time.
He called on his team to rally behind the executive committee and the MP to be successful in achieving the broad objectives of the party.
