Deputy Sanitation Minister opens two day workshop on effective environmental health prosecution
Amidu Chinnia Issahaku, the Deputy Sanitation Minister has opened a two day workshop on effective environmental health prosecution for 86 environmental health prosecutions for assemblies in the Ashanti Region.
In a Facebook post, Amidu Chinnia Issahaku said the program was organized by the Ministry of Sanitation in collaboration with Greater Kumasi Metropolitan Area and Water project.
According to the Deputy Minister, the program was meant to build the capacity of environmental officers who will serve as environmental prosecutors with the objective of dealing with people who commit environmental and sanitation offenses in our MMDAs.
