MTN Ghana Sets Historic Record with GHS5.9 Billion Tax Contribution

MTN Ghana, Ghana’s leading telecommunications network, has made history by contributing an unprecedented GHS5.9 billion in taxes as part of its annual financial obligations.

This significant financial commitment confirmed the company’s dedication to fulfilling its role as a responsible corporate entity within the Ghanaian business ecosystem.

The substantial tax payment can be broken down into key components, with GHS1.4 billion allocated to corporate tax, GHS1.2 billion designated for VAT and levies, and a further GHS843 million encompassing the top three taxes.
