Wa Central: Dr. Rashid Pelpuo Donates GHC30K For Various Developmental Projects

Member of Parliament for Wa Central Constituency Hon. Dr. Hassan Rashid Pelpuo has donated a sum of thirty thousand Ghana Cedis for various developmental projects in his constituency.

The lawmaker issued six different cheques to the tune of GHC30K after a follow up requests from various groups in his constituency.

The donations, led by a GHC12K cheque to support of the construction of a new Palace for the Tendamba resident in Wa Kpaguri, also included support various students groups.

A sum of GHC1000 each was issued to the Kperisi Health Training School and Dr Hilia Liman Technical University for various projects in the schools.

Another GHC5000 each was donated to Upper West Garages (Magazine Workers) and the leadership of Jonga Islamic School.

The Jonga Islamic School has been bedevilled with lack of infrastructure for a long time but is set to see massive facelift with the recent donations from the MP.

On the part of the Garages Union , the recent five thousand Cedis will add to the 50 bags of cements donated by the MP for the same project.

The last recipient of the MP’s support scheme was a GHC6,000 support to the people of Doodiyiri for the completion of their school project.

A number of communities and organizations are set to receive similar support scheme in the coming days.

The full list of recipients for the MP’s Support Scheme in his recent project is seen below :

GHC6,000 for Doodiyiri PTA

GHC12,000 for Kpaguri Tendanba Palace (Jangu)

GHC1,000 for Health training Institute

GHC1,000 Wa Technical University

GHC5,000 For Upper West Garages

GHC5,000 for Jonga Islamic School

The lawmaker was making his first return trip after his historic election as the President of the African Parliamentarians Forum on Population and Development.
