Today’s Demonstration Is A Fight For Democracy -Hon Dr Rashid Pelpuo

The Member of Parliament for Wa Central Constituency Hon Dr Hassan Rashid Pelpuo has described the massive demonstration in the nation’s capital as a fight for Democracy.

The veteran lawmaker joined thousands of Ghanaians across the country on the streets to relay the need for corruption free governance and democratically compatible leadership.

In what was massive patronized by many well meaning Ghanaians across the political divide, the demonstration ended at the Flagstaff house with the presentation of a petition to the president.

Hon. Dr. Rashid Pelpuo, using his interactive social media handles, described the massive demonstration as a fight for democracy.

Scores of people across the country assembled at the nation’s capital to air their disappointment on the current volatile security situation in Ghana and the loud silence from the president.

The recent sad shooting in Ejura and the inhuman brutality in Wa summed up the current state of Ghana’s security leakage.
