Former Deputy Regional Minister Donates Exercise Books To 3 Basic Schools In The Daffiama Bussie Issa District

The former Deputy Upper West Regional Minister in the erstwhile Mills administration, Hon Abu Kabiebata Kansangabata popularly known as Abu KK on Friday 14th February 2020 donated Three Thousand (3,000) exercise books to three basic schools in the Daffiama Bussie Issa District in the Upper West Region.

The schools are Fian primary and JHS school, Wogu primary JHS school and Issa primary and JHS school, each beneficiary school received (1000) exercise books respectively.

According to him the donation is to give back to community he hails from and also motivate the pupils to learn hard to become responsible people in the future.

Hon Abu KK however promised to extend his benevolent support to seven (7) basic schools in the areas because of the deprived nature of the place bringing the total exercise books expected to be given out to seven thousand (7,000) exercise books.

As part of the donation, he will also give textbooks to teachers who distinguish themselves in their area of teaching and the move is to help them do more research to teach the children.

He also promised to organize mock examination for the schools to further boost their academic performance.This he  believes will improve the education standard in the district.

Hon Abu KK said this is the little way he can contribute to support development in the district and this is his personal sponsorship for the project.

He also encourage the children to take their academic work seriously to become better people in the society.
