Hon Rashid Pelpuo Donates 28 Special Beds To Wa Municipal Health Directorates
Wa Central Member of Parliament Hon Dr Hassan Rashid Pelpuo has donated 28 special hospital beds to the Wa Municipal Health Directorate.
The legislature followed up a request from the health department with a surprise donation at the Municipal headquarters.
The package includes delivery beds, special beds for kids, emergency bed and other customized beds.
Speaking at the short ceremony, Hon Dr Hassan Rashid Pelpuo explained the need for sustainable and well equipped medical centers irrespective of one’s financial standing.
The Wa Central member of Parliament did not mince words in echoing the need for standardized medical facilities in the midst of COVID 19 and other transmitted diseases.
Dr Pascal Kingsley Mwine used the opportunity to plead for other medical support led by the electrification of Seyiri CHIPs and motor bikes to facilitate mobility in the rural areas.
In his response, Dr Hassan Rashid Pelpuo pledged instant support for the Kambali health facility and the other pleas tabled by the health Director.
Communities such as Kambali Yibile, Boli, Urban Health Center and Sing are the other beneficiary communities.
Meanwhile, the Wa Municipal Health Directorate has already started distributing the beds to the beneficiary communities.
