The chiefs and people of Bussie Traditional area have closed down Busie market until further notice.
In a press release on Monday 30th March, 2020, it said the market is closed until further notice as part of measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus.
“All traders in and out of Bussie traditional area are hereby informed that the Bussie market is from henceforth closed.
“We shall monitor any development related to the pandemic and take other informed decisions when the need be, in the interest of the people of Bussie, and by extension the entire Upper West Region.”
The statement urged traders to collaborate with the leadership to help stop the spread of the disease”
The Upper West Region recorded three negative cases and one positive case last Friday.
