The Fountain of Favor Ministry in Wa, Upper West Region, Ghana, has taken a bold step to address the recent spate of serial killings in the area by organizing a major praying session at the Wa main lorry station (kejetia). The prayer session, which took place on February 27, 2026, attracted hundreds of people who came to support the prayer theme, “And the land was polluted by innocent blood shared” (Psalm 106: 38).
Addressing the gathering, Head Pastor Pastor Pius Dumba revealed that the shedding of innocent blood and removal of body parts three years ago had desecrated the land, bringing fear to the people of Upper West Region. He emphasized the need for cleansing and purification, calling on the community to come together to pray for an end to the killings. Pastor Dumba urged the congregation to seek God’s intervention to restore peace and security to the area, and to bring the perpetrators of the heinous crimes to justice.

The atmosphere was charged with emotion as people lifted their voices in prayer, seeking God’s mercy and forgiveness. The event highlights the community’s determination to reclaim their town and restore peace and security to the area.
