The Member of Parliament for Wa Central and Minister of State for Labour Jobs and Employment, Hon. Dr. Rashid Hassan Pelpuo, has extended financial support amounting to GHC 26,000.00 to three institutions within the constituency to aid their ongoing projects and initiatives.
The beneficiaries include Wa Power Sporting Club (10,000) Radio Mak (Ghc 5000) and the Complementary Education Agency (Ghc 11,000) to enhance their respective activities and contributions to community development.
The presentation was made on behalf of the MP by the Mayor of Wa Municipality, Alhaji Issah Nurah Danwanaa, at a brief ceremony held at the Wa Municipal Assembly. The funds were disbursed through the MP’s Common Fund.
Speaking on behalf of the MP, Alhaji Danwanaa commended the beneficiaries for their continuous efforts in promoting education, youth empowerment, and community engagement in the Wa Municipality. He urged them to make good use of the support to achieve their intended goals.
Hon. Dr. Pelpuo reaffirmed his commitment to supporting institutions and groups that contribute to the socio-economic development of Wa Central, emphasizing the importance of collaboration in building a stronger and more vibrant community.
