Rt Speaker Hon Alban SK Bagbin Crowns 64th Birthday Celebration With Massive Blood Donation Exercise
Ghana’s Speaker of Parliament Rt Hon Alban SK Bagbin crowned his 64th birthday celebration with massive blood donation exercise in his native town, Nadowli Kaleo constituency.
The seasoned politician returned to his roots to mark his 64th birthday starting with donations of medical equipments and other logistics to the Nadowli District hospital before the flagship program of blood donation.
The hugely patronized program saw peoples of different walks of life willingly donating blood to the blood bank in the Nadowli Kaleo constituency in a colorful program.
Having served the Nadowli Kaleo constituency for nearly 3 decades, Hon Alban SK Bagbin rose to become the first opposition Speaker of Parliament in sub Sahara Africa to crown his political sojourn.
A slight victory for Mike Oquaye Senior elevated the political fortunes of Hon Alban SK Bagbin to the third highest seat in the political administrative ranks in Ghana.
The 64 year old law maker have since kept the bond between him and his native constituency intact as seen in the numerous activities executed in the last few months.
A football match will be played on Sunday September 26, 2021 between Sombo East and West to climax the birthday celebration.
