The second edition of the annual Home Radio Inter Community Championship is set to be launched by the event organizers, homeradionews.com.
The 2020 edition of the Inter Community Championship has been given a new face-lift with some indoor games added to the football aspect.
Communities can now register other indoor games like Hand Wrestling, Ludo and Tug of War as part of the new face of the competition.
With 32 communities participating in the maiden edition, football fans in the Upper West Region witnessed a historic event in the epic grand finale.
Tagrayiri lost to the unfancied Kabanye Community in the hugely patronized grand finale on June 21, 2019 at the Wa Malik Jabir Park.
Kabanye Community kept their nerves to emerge winners from the lottery of shootouts to pick the glittering trophy and a huge cow in the historic finale.
The 2020 edition has been given some new changes led by registration of players before the commencement of the season to avoid protest cases and inclusion of ‘strangers’ into match day squads.
Community leaders and interested participants are to contact Home Radio for official registration under the various competitions.
An official communique will be issued by the event organizers as to the exact date to launch the competition.
