Brilliant but needy Dauda Rafiq With 4As From SHS In Need Of Financial Support To Pursue Tertiary Education

An intelligent but needy student from Bamahu in the upper west region of Ghana, Dauda Rafiq, is in urgent need of financial support to help him continue his education.

The 20 Senior High School graduate pocketed four distinctions including Elective Mathematics in a stunning certificate.

The poor chap, who completed in 2019 is however yet to make entry into the tertiary educational structure because of financial setbacks.

Dauda Rafiq attained grade A in Core Mathematics, Social Studies, Integrated Science and Elective Mathematics with a C4 from English language coming as his worst grade.

The brainy student then got B2 in Biology, and Physics to cap his eye popping results slip.

Coming from a deprived background in Bamahu with only his mother to call upon, Rafiq couldn’t even afford application form for the 2019/20 Academic Year.

With support from his deprived family, Dauda Rafiq applied for Biochemistry from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), his dream course.

The school fees has been pegged at approximately GHC2000 without accommodation facility.

Speaking to Home Radio 99.7 FM, little Rafiq pleaded with corporate world to extend a helping hand for him to continue his education.

” All I need is to have the fees paid and back to the classroom. Because of this same financial situation I couldn’t go to school last year and now this year too I am having same problem. I am just begging whoever that has and is willing to help me continue my education to please come to my aid. I am sure at a point in life, all these things will be over”, Rafiq told Saani Abacha of Home Radio 99.7 FM.

The ambitious young chap graduated from Bamahu JHS with aggregate 12 in a deprived school and is not surprising to many when he bagged As with delight as a science student from the Nansec.
