The Member of Parliament for Daffiama Bussie Issa Constituency, Hon. Sebastien Sandaare who before becoming a Member of Parliament was a medical doctor and health director, has donated an amount of GH¢10,000.00 to the district health directorate to help fight against coronavirus.
The Member of Parliament paid the amount into the bank account of the Daffiama Bissie Issa District Health Directorate.
This was made known in a press statement by the Daffiama Bussie Issa National Democratic Congress communication office addressed to Home Radio.
The statement indicated that the donation was a measure to assist the health directorate in the fight against the pandemic.
“The donation is an interim intervention to help assist the Health Directorate to train its workers, procure PPEs and other logistics for the health facilities in the Daffiama-Bussie-Issa District.”
It added that the member of parliament will continue to mobilize resources to help combat the pandemic.
He admonished the constituents to take the fight against the pandemic seriously by adhering to the recommended preventive measures.
The statement added that the member of parliament is opened to the health directorate and any other stakeholder in ensuring the lives of the people of Daffiama Bussie Issa are safeguarded.
