Isaac Nuhu Stars As KAS Eupen Book Belgium Cup Quarters

Isaac Nuhu extended his inspirational form for KAS Eupen with another master performance in their domestic cup quarter final showdown at home to Waregem.

The Ghanaian wide man followed up his red hot form in the last 16 stages with a stellar outing in the last eight pairings to keep his title dreams alive.

KAS Eupen earned a dramatic 3-2 home progress over the fearless Waregem that saw Nuhu and his teammates coming from 2-0 down to booking a place in next phase of the domestic cup.

Zinho Gano gave Waregem a 2-0 lead after 36 minutes to leave the host with a herculean task of qualifying into the last eight teams.

The host however responded in the best of replies with three dramatic goals led by the 94th minute winner from Smail Prevljak.

Nuhu saw 66 minutes of the cup clash before paving way for Carlos Embalo due to tactical reasons.

KAS Eupen head to KV Mechelen for the quarter final clash on December 21, 2021 as the race for the season’s first trophy takes center stage.
