MP For Sissala East Hon Issahaku Amidu Chinnia Funds Admission Optometry Student, Pledges To Repeat Feat In Six -Year Program

The Member of Parliament for the Sissala East Constituency Hon Issahaku Amidu Chinnia has fully funded the admission fees for newly optometry student at a cost of Seven Thousand Ghana Cedis.

The fast emerging lawmaker followed up on his promise of getting specialists workers for his constituents with an initial payment in full of the first year school fees.

The six year programme, will see Miss Hikima Susolo Karim, graduating as a Doctor in Optometry from the University of Cape Coast.

Speaking after the making the first payment, Hon Chinnia revealed that he was going to make an annual payment of the school fees within the next three years of his MP tenure whiles facilitating for the full package by 2024.

In his usual updates via his social media handles, the lawmaker, shared the happy face of little Hikima Karim in a hearty chat with the MP.

“As part of my efforts to support in diversification of professionals from the constituency, I gave a cheque of seven thousand Ghana cedis (7000) for payment of first year school fees and a new laptop to Miss Hikima Susolo Karim who is pursuing a 6-year Doctor of Optometry in the university of Cape Coast.

I will pay the fees on yearly basis for the remaining three years that I will be member of Parliament for Sissala East but will have an arrangement to pay for the rest of the two years before end of 2024.

Youth empowerment through education and skills development is at the centre of my agenda as member of Parliament.

The latest donation is one of several landmark achievements chalked by the fast evolving lawmaker in his first term as a Member Of Parliament.
