Humanity First donates medical equipment worth $10,000 to Wa Municipal Hospital

Humanity First United Kingdom has donated medical equipment and consumables worth $10,000 to the Wa Municipal Hospital.

This was revealed by the Chairman of Humanity First, Ghana, Alhaji Farouk Ali Gbongtaa and some four Medical Consultants from Humanity First, United Kingdom during a courtesy call on the Upper West Regional Minister on 6th June, 2022.

During their first visit in November 2021, Humanity First signed a memorandum of understanding with officials of the Wa Municipal Hospital to help equip the facility to serve the growing health needs of the people.

Six months on, the team came back to the region to donate medical equipment and some consumables to expand the capacity of the Wa Municipal Hospital.

They will also organise a training workshop for some staff of the hospital on how to operate the machines in order to use them for the intended purposes.

Humanity First is a multi-sector, International NGO, working on human development projects and providing disaster relief in countries around the world.
