Prince Razak Tachi commissions a mechanized borehole at Jeyiri

Prince Razak Tachi, one of the NDC’s parliamentary candidates in the Wa East Constituency, has commissioned a mechanized borehole at Jeyiri in an effort to supply the community with potable water.

There used to be just one operational borehole serving the entire town, making it difficult for women to find drinkable water for domestic use.

With the addition of the borehole in Jeyiri, Prince Razak Tachi has now built five mechanized boreholes in the Wa East Constituency.

Delivering a short during the commissioning, Prince Razak Tachi claims that the Wa East District is experiencing severe water shortages, and he is trying to install 10 new boreholes there to alleviate the issue.

He claimed that as a result of the development initiatives he has funded for the residents of Wa East District, he has sufficiently proven that he deserves to be granted the chance to represent the people in parliament.

Prince Razak said that it was more important to think about the needs of the people in Wa East District than to pay delegates specifically to obtain their votes.

He claimed that the area is underdeveloped and largely devoid of basic services, and he said he wants to become the Member of Parliament in order to raise and improve the status of the Wa East Constituency.

During the commissioning, a few women spoke and conveyed their deep gratitude to Prince Razak Tachi for his assistance in addressing the water crisis in the community.

They said that the borehole will ease the stress of commuting to nearby towns for water, such as Kojo Kuraa and Kilanjong.

Dayuoni Danyegri, the branch chairman, thanked Prince Razak Tachi for helping the neighborhood because the borehole will be used for residential and agricultural needs.

He urged the candidates to put forth a lot of effort to improve the district, stating that their efforts will determine how the primary would turn out.

The Zonal Coordinator of Jeyiri Zone, Mr. Daniel Samuro said he believed that Prince Razak Tachi is the best candidate ahead of the primary based on his track record.

According to him, Prince Razak Tachi’s efforts as a private citizen indicate that, if elected, he will improve the status of Wa East Constituency and expand the number of job prospects for young people.

Prince Razak Tachi has gained popularity thanks to the boreholes and other initiatives he has funded in the area ahead of the 13th May parliamentary primary.

The challenge of unseating a sitting member of parliament is enormous, but Prince Razak Tachi is convinced that, given his influence in the constituency, he can upset the status quo.

The Wa East Constituency is experiencing a more heated political climate as the day for the NDC parliamentary primary approaches.
