NDC Primaries: Dr. Seidu Jasaw wins Wa East Constituency

Incumbent Member of Parliament for Wa East Constituency, Dr Godfred Seidu Jasaw has won the NDC parliamentary Primaries in the Wa East Constituency.

Dr. Seidu Jasaw pulled 764 votes out of a total valid vote of 1067.

His closest contender in the race Prince Razak Tachi, pulled 163 votes, while Dr. Munawaru Issahaque obtained 140 votes.

The Wa East NDC parliamentary primaries were contested by 3 aspirants, Dr. Seidu Jasaw, Dr. Issahaque Munawaru, and Prince Razak Tachi.

Dr. Seidu Jasaw after his victory thanked the Wa East NDC delegates for the massive endorsement and also thanked his contenders for putting up a fight.

He, however, said he was going to work with all party members to ensure the Wa East Constituency becomes a safe seat for the NDC come 2024 and beyond.

Meanwhile, John Dramani Mahama obtained 991 votes, to win the Presidential Primaries in Wa East while Kojo Bonsu obtained 41 from a  total valid votes of 1067.
