Hon Dr Hassan Rashid Pelpuo Honored With Life Time Patriot Award
Member of Parliament for Wa Central Constituency Hon Dr Hassan Rashid Pelpuo has been honoured with Life Time in Patriot award for his political evolution in the last two decades.
Initiators of Change Foundation (ICF) honored the seasoned lawmaker alongside other revered class of Ghanaian for their role in Ghana’s democratic gains.
Having been elected to represent Wa Central for the first in the 2004, the lawmaker has since held onto his seat for the past five elections capped the emphatic 2020 Parliamentary triumph.
The honorary award is to appreciate the universal and tolerant nature of the Wa Central Member of Parliament from both ends of the political divide.
His recent acknowledgement is one of several awards scooped in the political space thanks to his unique and tolerant nature on the political battle field.
His rise from a youth leader at the Issa Youth into a national figure summed up his political trajectory from a humble beginning.
