Dr. Hafiz Bin Salih expresses shock over former DCE’s death

The previous Wa West District Chief Executive’s passing has shocked Dr. Hafiz Bin Salih, the Upper West Regional Minister.

While reportedly seeking medical attention in Kumasi, in the Ashanti Region, Edward Laabiir Sabo, who served as the Wa West DCE during the first term of this government, reportedly passed away.

Dr. Hafiz Bin Salih posted on his Facebook page to offer the grieving family his condolences. He claimed to have been shocked and saddened when he learned of the news, comforting the family as they worked out the details of the funeral.

The late Mr. Edward Sabo Laabiir was born on December 12th, 1979, and attended the University of Development Studies (UDS) for his postsecondary education.

Laabiir was the DCE of Wa West District in the first term of President Nana Akufo-Addo. As we await his family to come out with his funeral arrangement, our thoughts are with the bereaved family.
