MCE hopeful withdraws from race

A Municipal Chief Executive Hopeful in the Upper West Region, Saaka Adams has pulled the plugs on his dreams of becoming the next Wa MCE.

The Wa Technical Institute Principal suddenly withdrew from the race with few hours to the vetting of candidates in the Wa Municipal.

In a statement sighted by Homeradionewsonline.com, Mr Saaka brought to the attention of the populace that the decision is personal for which reason she can’t continue his bid.

The statement reads “I wish to withdraw my candidature from the Wa Municipal contest, this decision has come as a result of personal issues that are beyond my control. As a result, I would not be available for the on-going vetting.”

“I wish to use this opportunity to thank the Regional Minister, Hon Dr Hafiz Bin Salih for his exceptional leadership in the region. I also want to thank the Regional Chairman, Father SB Kangbere and the entire Regional Executives for championing the affairs of the NPP in this difficult moment.”

“My greatest thanks go to the Wa Central Constituency Chairman, Chairman Naaba Kunsaanpuo Karim Kamara and his entire executives for including me in the contest. I wish to assure the vetting committee chairman that, I will avail myself anytime the need arise in supporting our great party.”

“Lastly, I wish to congratulate and wish the aspirants a good luck as they go through processes.”
