UWR :Wa Zongo citizens in diaspora commended for Renovating Huriya Islamic School Block

The headmaster of the Huriya Islamic Arabic and English School in Wa in the Upper West Region , Naa Abubakar Mustapha, has commended citizens of Wa Zongo in the diaspora for rehabilitating the school block which has been in a deplorable state.

The Islamic school, one of the oldest in the Wa Municipality, has for some years now seen no development making learning and teaching very difficult.

In an interview with Romanus Bombe Kyi – Era, Naa Mustapha, recalled the nature of the school and said, the rehabilitation has brought relief to both students and teachers and gave the assurance that the new edifice would promote good and conducive atmosphere learning in the school.

He called on other citizens of the Municipality to emulate the shinning example of Wa Zongo citizens in the diaspora.

The Chairman of the Parents – Teachers Association, Huudu Abdul – Wahab, on his part lauded the group for it kind gesture and urged other stakeholders and philanthropists to also contribute their quota in making the school one of the best in the Wa Municipality.
