UWR: Wife of Lawyer Wahid Iddrissu donates to special schools in Wa

The wife of Lawyer Wahid Iddrisu, Wa Central NDC parliamentary aspirant Lawyer Juliana Oduro Iddrisu has donated cash amount, drugs, and some food items to two (2), special schools in Wa.

The special schools were The Wa Methodist School for the Blind and Wa School for the Deaf.

At the Wa School for the Deaf, she donated drugs and food items including rice, cooking oil, and tomatoes worth Ghs 4,600 to the school.

She also donated similar items to the Wa Methodist School for Blind and donated a cash amount of Ghs 2000 to the department of vocational training at the Wa Methodist School for the Blind.

Lawyer Juliana Oduro-Iddrisu while presenting the items on May 10, 2023, to the staff and students of the two special schools stated that Lawyer Wahid’s family believes that humans are defined by their deeds hence the motive behind the kind gesture.

“We believe that humans are defined by their deeds and that’s the reason why we are doing this. Our daughter also believed in charity and charity works and has been the brain behind this idea”.

She assured the beneficiaries that, the gesture will not just be a nine-day wonder but would be a continuous gesture.

Yahaya Ridwan, Senior Prefect of the School for the Deaf, on behalf of the student body expressed their gratitude to Lawyer Wahid Bampuori-Iddrisu’s wife and the entire family for thinking about them and actually coming to their aid.

Headmaster of Wa School for the Deaf, Bayor Sylvester blithely appreciated the support given to them and on behalf of the school management assured Lawyer Juliana and her team that the items donated will be utilized judiciously.
