Nusrat Jahan Ahmadiyya College of Education Graduates 249 Students at 6th convocation

Nusrat Jahan Ahmadiyya College of Education celebrated the graduation of an impressive 249 students at its 6th convocation ceremony held on Thursday, September 21, 2023. The college’s auditorium was abuzz with excitement as families, faculty, and friends gathered to honor the accomplishments of these graduates.

The Acting Principal, Mr. Abdul-Aziz Abdul-Moomin, delivered a stirring address that highlighted the college’s unwavering commitment to holistic development and its dedication to aligning its mission with its core values.

The institution continues to thrive with a diverse student population, boasting a total of 1,541 students for the 2022/2023 academic year.

Originally founded with a focus on training teachers for junior high schools, Nusrat Jahan Ahmadiyya College of Education has continually adapted its programs to meet the changing educational landscape. Today, it encompasses early grade and upper primary education programs, ensuring a well-rounded curriculum.

Despite facing challenges in completing several infrastructure projects, including an auditorium complex, a 3-storey lecture hall complex, and a 2-storey boys’ hostel, the college remains committed to providing quality education and fostering a conducive learning environment.

The highlight of the convocation was the remarkable number of graduates  249 students who proudly received their Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) certificates.

He emphasized the importance of completing ongoing infrastructure projects to provide an optimal learning environment.

This diverse group of graduates represents the culmination of years of hard work and dedication. The breakdown of pass categories included:

  • First Class: 2 graduates
  • Second-Class Upper Division: 109 graduates
  • Second-Class Lower Division: 86 graduates
  • Third-Class Division: 47 graduates
  • Pass Division: 5 graduates

Mulvi Noor Mohammed Bin-Salih, Chairman of the governing council of Nusrat Jahan Ahmadiyya Training College, commended the graduates for their exemplary achievements and expressed the council’s unwavering commitment to the college’s mission.

The 6th convocation ceremony at Nusrat Jahan Ahmadiyya College of Education was a testament to the institution’s dedication to nurturing academic excellence and holistic development.
