UWR: Vice President pleads with Chiefs and people in DBI to vote for NPP

The Vice President, Dr Mahamud Bawumia has asked the Chiefs and people of Daffiama Bussie Issa (DBI) constituency to vote for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the upcoming elections.

He urged the people to consider the developmental agenda of the NPP in the constituency and compare it to the eight years record of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and make informed decisions.

He made this known when he paid a courtesy call on the Chiefs and people of Daffiama Bussie Issa as part of his campaign ahead of the 2020 elections.

“The NPP has built roads, schools, health facilities, dams and many more in four years though the party has never won in the constituency.” Dr Bawumia reiterated

He pledged to build a nursing training college in the area in their next administration while pointing out that the existing health facilities will be upgraded to the status of poly clinic.

He hinted of the NPP’s plans of building a District Hospital in the DBI constituency as part the agenda “one-one-one” aimed at building one hundred and eleven regional and district hospitals across the country.

On his part, the Upper West Regional NPP Chairman, SB kangberee urged the people to vote for the NPP Parliamentary candidate, Hon Nadi Sanda who is also the District Chief Executive for the area to support him to bring dramatic development to DBI.

Ing Nadi Imoro Sanda reminded the people about his commitment to the development of the area and urged them to try after years of voting for the NDC.
