The full statement is seen below :

Our dear party in a week from today, the 2nd of December is set to take a second phase of its preparation towards fronting worthy men and women in various constituencies to represent the party in the upcoming 2024 general elections with orphan constituencies.

I use today to wish every one in contest, more especially in the 11 constituencies of the upper west region well. The last few days may be so tempting but I want to encourage every single contender to be decorum so we can be out as a family stronger to win majority seats and to BreakThe8.Also wish to admonish our party youth that are always use as agents of mayhem to be decorum too.

More importantly,it’s a sad development that despite the rules and guidelines of this parliamentary elections that has admonished on need for the various units set up,thus National Parliamentary Vetting Committee ( NPVC ) and Constituency Parliamentary Vetting Committee ( CPVC ),which includes regional executives and constituency chairpersons as matter of responsibility to ensure level play ground for all Aspirants, yet we still have some ( Chairmen and executives ) physically out there campaigning for some candidates.

I want to plead and admonish these senior party members to as an accordance of respect to the party and it’s constitution or regulations desist from such because it is causing some volcanic burning that may erupt after the parliamentary primaries and hinder our chances of winning certain seats.

As a mobilising body of the party, I see it necessary to caution because we shall suffer any of such differences more if it so happens because these disagreements do show their ugly faces in the youth front more. I also want to remind the party that, such regulations put in place should be monitored and those who fail to adhere should be called to order and put into check.

May we be out stronger together to break the 8.
