REHABILITATION AND DRILLING OF BOREHOLES BY HON DR GODFRED SEIDU JASAW, MP FOR WA EAST.
Dr Godfred Seidu Jasaw, MP for Wa East Constituency inspected and unveiled a borehole he has rehabilitated at Kpariyiri community in the Wa East District of the Upper West Region.
The suffering caused by the absence of a borehole compelled the newly elected Lawmaker to come to their aid by repairing the only borehole that was malfunctioning for the past ten years.
After failing to repair the borehole, the people in the community was compelled to draw water from the nearby rivers.
In his resolve to help address water challenges in the area, the MP provided funds to repair the borehole to bring relief to the people.
He admonished them to take good care of the borehole while he works hard to get them additional ones while thanking the Chiefs and people for their support.
This is the fifth borehole he has drilled and rehabilitated since he assumed office as MP three months ago.
Chasia, Buler and Sagu have gotten two and one respectively.
While a candidate, Dr Godfred Seidu Jasaw facilitated the drilling of seven mechanized boreholes for the constituency and pledged to make access to portable water in the constituency a right and not a previlage.
On their part, the people thanked the Hon Member of Parliament for coming to their aid while assuring him of their maximum.
The MP was accompanied by his constituency chairman Abu Ballifiama, Organizer, Communications Officer, women organizer, Manwe zonal organizer and a host of party members.
