Home Radio Programmes Manager Donates educational Materials to Kojokperi D/A Primary School

Mr. Annaakaa Warris, the Programmes Manager of Home radio and also a native from Kojokperi on Monday 26th February, 2024 has donated educational Materials to Kojokperi D /A primary School to aid teaching and learning for the pupils.
The items donated were included, over 1000 exercise books and Pens including Pencils which were distributed to the children in the Upper primary A and B, and the junior high school students. Each child receives 2 exercise books and a Pen, the lower primary children also pencil each.

The donation according him, is in line with his 10th anniversary celebration as media practioner in the media fraternity in the upper west region.

In an interview with Annaakaa Warris on the motive behind the donation, he mentioned that the children education is a big concern to him in the Community and he wants them to be prominent people in future.
“My motivation is that, I want to see these children one day being like me or better than me in the Constituency”, he stated.
He lauded the help of some friends and relatives for their support and resources in bringing this donation possible, and hoping to extend this donation to the other part of the district and region as a whole in future.

Mr. Warris further mentioned that, he is working assiduously to collaborate with NGOs and other philanthropists to come over to support the educational sector in the district to improve teaching and learning for the children.

He however used the opportunity to call on his colleagues journalists to focus the job to achieve the future goals because the media fraternity is highly sacrificial job and for that matter, there is a need to focusing on the future achievement and ignore the negatives aspect.

Mr. Fonjumah Abubakari, the Parents Teachers Association ( PTA) chairman for the Kojokperi D/A Primary School on behalf of the pupils and teachers, expressed his profound gratitude and thanked the donor Mr. Warris for the kind gesture from his outfit.
He then used the opportunity to appeal to stateholders and other philanthropists within the district and region as large to emulate such a good donation and come and help the children to encourage them for better future.
