Exclusive: Premier League Set To Be Played At The Wa Park For The First Time Since 2018

Football fans in the Upper West Region are set to witness topflight once again since the exit of Wa All Stars from the league in June 2018.

The Wa Malik Jabir Sports Stadium, home grounds to Upper West Heroes and Wa All Stars FC is once again closer to hosting topflight football for the upcoming 2024/25 domestic season.

Exclusive information revealed that business moguls in the region are closer to securing an agreement with an unnamed topflight side to use the Wa Park as their home grounds.

Though scanty, trusted information hinted that Karela United FC might move to the Wa Park for the 2024/25 football season whiles plans are underway to secure another club by these business icons ready to invest in the game.

With Wa Suntaa, Wa Power SC and Maana SC all using the Wa Park as their home grounds, the 2024/25 season promises to be a busy schedule at the Wa Park if three teams maintain their division one status to add to the newcomer from the regional League.

The Malik Jabir Sports could be hosting 5 clubs if plans go as expected.

Wa All Stars played their premier league matches at the Wa Park from 2007 -2018 including a triumphant 2016 domestic league.
