NPP Decides : Governor Returns To The Ballot For Upper West Regional Regional NASARA Coordinator

Reigning Upper West Regional NASARA Coordinator for the ruling NPP Osman Tankari Mohammed has officially confirmed his candidature for the upcoming regional Executive Elections.

The hugely sociable politician, known in the political space as Governor or Welfare, took to his social media handles to confirm his candidature.

In what looks like a battle already won ahead of the contest, Governor’s handy work across the region made the election cosmetic with little opposition awaiting him.

Having worked with the Zongo Development Fund in the first term of the current Nana Addo led government, Osman Mohammed made name for himself across all eleven constituencies in the region.

His official declaration confirmed initial rumors of his imminent return to the ballot for the Regional NASARA Coordinator position.

The football administrator turned politician is a known youth activist and has been actively involved in matters of the youths for the larger part of his life.

Initial reports suggest he might go unopposed although other candidates are democratically eyeing his seat ahead of next months’ contest.

The New Patriotic Party will head to the poll in three weeks from today to elect their regional executives as they prepare for the heated Presidential Primaries later in 2023.
