Frank Mbella’s Agent Descends On Money Conscious Nana Yaw Amponsah

Agent for former Asante Kotoko SC forward Frank Mbella Etouga has descended heavily on the CEO of the club Nana Yaw Amponsah for his pseudo role as a player agent rather the CEO position.

The two administrators saw their relationship muddied due to the sales of the Cameroonian forward , Frank Mbella Etouga to Egyptian side Ismaily.

The sharp shooter took the Premier league by storm by firing 21 goals to lead Asante Kotoko SC to their first league crown since 2014.

The relationship between the player’s manager and the club’s CEO however reached a point of no return with the Cameroonian confirming he will never do business with Asante Kotoko SC as long as Nana Yaw Amponsah remains the boss of the club.

Speaking on Akoma 87.9FM and monitored by Home Radio 99.7 FM, Amadou Fontem, who is the agent of Frank Mbella Etouga did not mince words in making his stand known.

“let (Kotoko) know that it is not all about money, relationship counts but unfortunately they have destroyed that beautiful relationship with AS Fortuna. Kotoko still owes them $10, 000. Based on this issue, no Cameroonian player
will join Kotoko unless this current crop of management of Kotoko are out of office.

Players and Club Presidents in Cameroon know that the CEO of Kotoko is acting more as an agent than a club CEO.

I’m saying this because he repeated what he has done to us to his player who plays in Moldova. He sold the player without consulting or seeking the consent of his agent.

The management at Kotoko is the poorest l have seen, no agent will accept what they are doing to their clients. I regret doing business with them.

Initially I assumed that I was working with professionals but now I realize they are very unprofessional”, Amadou Fontem Tingana (Agent of Mbella) on Akoma 87.9FM.

The Cameroonian goal poacher has since left the Ghanaian Champions for pastures anew in Egypt.
