The Upper West Regional Minister, Dr Hafiz Bin Salih has issued query to Municipal and District Chief Executives for absenting themselves from the general meeting of the Upper West Regional Coordinating Council.
The general meeting was held at Upper West Regional library on Wednesday, 20th July, 2022 to deliberate on the development of the region.
The Regional Minister lamented over the attitude of patrons of the meeting especially MDCE’s towards time as some of them arrived late.
The DCE for Wa West and some of the stakeholders were prevented from attending the meeting for arriving late.
The MDCE’s for Nadowli/Kaleo, Wa and Jirapa were absent from the meeting after a roll call was conducted while some coordinating directors were also noticed to have been absent.
Dr Hafiz Bin Salih expressed disgust over the level of absenteeism and issued a query to the affected persons.
He directed the Coordinating director at the RCC to ensure the affected persons answer the query by Monday, 25th July, 2022.
