On Tuesday, May 13, 2025, the District Chief Executive (DCE) for the Daffiama-Bussie-Issa District, Hon. James Wor, paid a courtesy call on the Paramount Chiefs of Daffiama and Bussie. The visit was to officially introduce himself to the Chiefs and express gratitude for their prayers and support following his appointment by the President of the Republic of Ghana.
During the visit, Hon. Wor emphasized his commitment to working closely with traditional authorities and leadership within the district to bring development and progress. He stated, “I am here not just to introduce myself, but to assure you of my willingness to learn from your wealth of wisdom and to seek your guidance as we work together for the progress of our beloved district.”
The DCE expressed his profound gratitude for the opportunity to serve the district, acknowledging the crucial role traditional authorities play in promoting unity, peace, and development. He promised to collaborate with the Paramount Chiefs and their sub-chiefs to ensure development projects benefit the people of the District.
The Paramount Chiefs thanked the DCE for the visit and pledged their unwavering support, offering blessings for his successful tenure and God’s protection in office. They urged him to remain fair, transparent, and committed to the welfare of the people.
