“Home Radio Changing lives” achieves results as Brilliant but needy Dauda Rafiq gets help

 Alhaji Anwar Sadat, a businessman who hails from Wa in the Upper West Region has extended his philanthropic hand to Dauda Rafiq, the intelligent but needy student from Bamahu in the upper west region of Ghana.

Dauda Rafiq attained 4 As  as a science student from Nandom SHS in 2019 but could not enrol into tertiary institution because of financial setbacks.


A documentary by Home Radio News on the 20-year old Rafiq reached Alhaji Anwar Sadat via the magic of social media.

The Bamahu born student secured admission into Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) to pursue Biochemistry.

The emotionally inspired Alhaji Anwar, who doubles as the Executive Director of X-Unit Group of Companies and a member of the AL Royal Holdings,  quickly paid the fees for little Rafiq in full.

Having fully paid off the tuition fees, Alhaji Anwar Sadat then started process of securing accommodation for the needy student to facilitate his tertiary education.

Checks from Home Radio News revealed that  Alhaji Sadat has a tract record of helping such students across the country no matter their race or background.

At 20 years, the beneficiary student has been dubbed by many as an Academic shark as evidenced in his stunning aggregate 12 from Bamahu JHS.

He has been heavily tipped to blossom into a national icon thanks to his special brains.

Alhaji Anwar Sadat comes in with multiple faces including a fund manager,  investor,  consultant,  Executive Director of X-Unit Group of Companies and a member of an international developing firm, Al Royal Holdings.
