PRESS RELEASE: MILITARY HIGH COMMAND ISSUES COMMUNIQUE ON ARMY BRUTALITIES IN WA
The Military High Command is the latest voice in the Ghanaian security apparatus to have joined the call for peace in the Upper West Region with the issuance of a strong worded communiqué to the General Public.
A sad incident in the regional capital left many bruised and in a state of fear after some soldiers stormed Wa to molest and brutalize innocent people for no crime committed.
The dark Thursday afternoon took over social media across the country with many socialites calling on the leadership of the country to take strong and punitive measures against the victims.
Through the public relations department of the Military High Command, a communiqué has been issued, condemning the issue at hand and plans to reunite the army with the people of Wa.
A high powered delegation will also meet the leadership of Wa and upper west at large to stitch the gaps created by the horror scenes from the soldiers.
No concrete cause has been assigned to the brutalities despite the heated rumor of stolen mobile phone by a tricycle driver.
