NDC Decides: Chairman Bunas commends party leaders for peaceful elections

The Upper West Regional Chairman for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. Abdul Nasir Saani also known as Chairman Bunas has praised the leadership of the party for a successful parliamentary and presidential primaries.

He made this known on Home Radio’s socio-political show, tegyaayela on Monday 15th May 2023 after the presidential and parliamentary primaries.

He used the opportunity to congratulate all winners and called for them to unite with the losers in order to win the 2024 election.

Chairman Bunas noted that the outcome of the election is an indication that the NDC is ready to wrestle power from the Nana Akufo Addo-led government.

He revealed that the leadership of the NDC in the region had met all aspirants on the need to avoid intemperate or foul language prior to, during, and after the election which has impacted positively on the election.

“The regional and national executives will soon visit the various branches and constituencies to thank party members for the successful elections,” he said.

Chairman Bunas observed that the leadership of the party should have intensified voter education in the region to ensure the delegates vote properly.

He wondered why some of the delegates voted for the other presidential aspirants who failed to come to the region to canvass votes.

He was optimistic about the chances of the NDC in the 2024 elections while calling on all members of the party in the region to come together as one family and work hard to win the 2024 general election.
