Philanthropic Leadership: Alhaj Tahiru Issahaku Moomin Supports Outstanding Graduands of Dr. Hilla Limann Technical University

On Saturday, May 18, 2024, the Wa Municipal Chief Executive, Alhaj Tahiru Issahaku Moomin, demonstrated his commitment to education and community development by supporting outstanding graduands of Dr. Hilla Limann Technical University (DHLTU) during their 5th Congregation.

As the Guest of Honour, Alhaj Moomin was impressed by the academic achievements of the graduands and pledged to support them in their future endeavors. His generosity and leadership were evident as he donated a laptop to Ms. Bacho Beatrice, the best graduating student in Electrical Engineering, and an industrial sewing machine to Ms. Al-Hasan Rashida Balure, the best graduating student in Fashion and Design.

Furthermore, Alhaj Moomin made a cash donation of GHC 2000 to Ms. Amanda Boateng, the Valedictorian who graduated with an impressive CGPA of 4.64. This donation serves as a testament to his dedication to supporting exceptional students and encouraging academic excellence.

The Vice-Chancellor and members of staff expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Alhaj Moomin for his philanthropic gesture, which has made a significant impact on the lives of these outstanding graduands. His presence and support made the 5th Congregation a memorable event, and his generosity will continue to inspire and motivate students to strive for excellence.

The 5th Congregation of Dr. Hilla Limann Technical University saw a total of 478 graduands receive their Higher National Diploma (HND) in various fields of study, marking an important milestone in their academic and professional journeys.
