Wa Central: Dr. Rashid Pelpuo Provides Educational support to over 45 Tertiary Students
The Member of Parliament ( MP) for Wa Central Constituency, Dr. Rashid Hassan Pelpuo has provided educational support to over 45 tertiary students in the Wa Central Constituency.
The MP’s support is to aid them in paying fees for the 2022/2023 academic year.
An amount of Ghs 90,000 was disbursed among the students who applied to the Mps office seeking support.
At a short ceremony at his Wa-based office, the MP, Dr. Rashid Pelpuo together with some NDC party executives handed over cheques to the beneficiaries.
He also revealed that he spent over Ghs 240,000 on providing support to students in the last few years
He said ” education is one of my main priority areas, and I have been working over the years to support these students who are a resource to the growth of Wa Central Constituency. They are the future and we must help them to grow to become better leaders ”
The MP further called on the students to work hard to produce good grades in academia.
The Wa Central constituency Chairman of the NDC, Alhaj Sidik Famina at the occasion thanked the MP for his support and called the beneficiaries to emulate the life of the Hon. Dr. Rashid Pelpuo.
