The Home Radio Changing lives train stopped at the camp of 21-year old Shahid Malik from Wa Limanyiri in search of support for a life saving head surgery.

The social intervention scheme is calling on the philanthropic donors to help foot the surgery cost of GHC8,800 for the bed ridden patient.

Born with an abnormal head size, the woes of Malik compounded in the last few years to the extend that his speech, movement and other basic human features are defunct at the moment.

His frustrated family members tried all means to rescue their much adored son from his predicament to no avail due to the scary nature of the cost.

Their latest trip to the Tamale Teaching Hospital revealed that an amount of GHC8, 800 is needed to foot the surgery bills.

As per the attached medical confirmation from the Tamale Teaching Hospital, little Shahid will have to fork out this amount before the surgery.

Home Radio Changing lives scheme is calling on the general public to help fund this bill for Malik Shahid.

The sickness has reached a stage where Shahid cannot move any part of his body nor talk due to the complexity of the hormonal setback.

Volunteer donors can reach the front desk of Home Radio with any support where in cash or facilitation of the surgery.
