GFA put on hold use of Ghana card for player registration

According to Prosper Harrison, the Ghana Football Association’s general secretary, the order to register players using Ghana cards has been suspended.

The decision to utilize the new identification card to register players was previously announced to the clubs by the nation’s football regulatory body, which is following a government decree.

In contrast, Harrison Addo stated in an interview with Starr FM, “Yes, initially we had indicated to all clubs that the Ghana card will be strictly used for player registration before the league began.”

The majority of those participated in the exercise, however, did not have their cards ready to use for the duration of the activity, so we were forced to postpone it.

On August 1, the premier league’s registration period will conclude.
