- Zulifawu Salifu, a level 100 student at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has won the most outstanding female student activist of the year at the National Student Prestigious Awards, 2020.
The Home Radio’s morning show Co-host grabbed the award at the conference hall of the Ghana National Association of Teachers in Accra on Saturday.
That is her second award in 2020 after the 19 years old won the student activist in the Upper West Student Excellence award in January.
The Geological engineering student won the coveted award with a whopping 1,366 votes while her contender had a paltry 709 votes.
Organized by 3D events, the young activist known by her peers as Miss Zuli received a glamorous award, a tablet, clock and a certificate.
As a student activist and an ambassador for adolescent health, She has been educating and empowering young girls to take up leadership roles in the society.
She has also undertaken several activities which includes door to door adolescent health education and a blood donation exercise in December 2019.
The multi talented young lady was captured by Home Radio few months ago and she has become a mainstay on the morning show and the news room.
