Hon. Issahaku Amidu Chinnia Holds Japanese Contingent Ahead Of Expected Partnership In Waste Management

Deputy Minister for Sanitation and Water Resources Honorable Issahaku Amidu Chinnia has started procedures leading to an expected partnership with Japanese firm specialized in waste treatment and management.

The Member of Parliament for Sissala East constituency, who doubles as Deputy Minister for Sanitation and Water Resources, hosted delegation from Japan to facilitate an impending partnership on waste management.

The latest move, which forms part of plans from the Ministry targeted at recycling waste matter, is expected to be finalized as soon as possible.

Through his highly interactive social media handles, Hon Issahaku Chinnia confirmed hosting delegation from Japan on waste management.

“On behalf of my minister I received a team from Japan and their local partners in the ministry who are exploring for opportunity to invest in waste treatment in the country. We had Frank discussion on waste management and treatment and have agreed that our technical team on sanitation should have further engagement with them on the specifics”, Hon Aminu Chinia posted after the successful meeting.

Home Radio 99.7 FM understands that the waste recycling partnership will be decentralized with firms spread across the country.

Checks from the news desk of Home Radio 99.7 FM also suggested that chunk of the workers will be Ghanaians to provide another employment avenue for the teaming youth in the country.
