Bagbin At 64 : Rt Speaker Hon Alban SK Bagbin Crowns Birthday Celebration With Blood Donation Exercise In Nadowli
Ghana’s Speaker of Parliament Rt Hon Alban SK Bagbin is set to cap his 64th birthday celebration with a blood donation exercise at the Nadowli Kaleo constituency in the upper West Region.
The Sombo born continental icon rose through the ranks of African politics to earn his current position as an opposition speaker of Parliament.
The three day celebration will start off with a blood donation exercise at his constituency Nadowli-Kaleo.
This will be followed by a community football championship in his native Kaleo Sombo community.
The Speaker will then make some donations to the Children’s ward at the Nadowli District Hospital.
An expected mass patronage at the Blood Donation program will then close day one of the celebration before the local football derby between Sombo East and Sombo West in the community pitch.
Rt Hon Alban S K Bagbin was the longest serving member of Parliament and spiced his iconic status as the Leader of the Third arm of Government.
