Speaker of Ghana’s parliament Rt Hon Alban SK Bagbin celebrated his 64th birthday with a blood Donation Exercise held in the Nadowli/Kaleo constituency in the Upper West Region.
The birthday celebration lasted for three days starting from 24th September, 2021 with series of activities including a football match between Sombo and Kaleo communities.
Lord Michael Baatruolkuu who is the special Assistant to the Speaker of Parliament, made some donations on behalf of the former legislator to the children’s ward at the Nadowli District Hospital.
The District Director of health services, Madam Phoebe Bala described the exercise as a life saving intervention to the people of Nadowli/Kaleo district.
The Catholic priest of Queen of peace parish for Nadowli, Rev father Aloysius kpiebaya and Apostle Dr.Eric Emefa Agbodenu of faith City Chapel International at Tema community 7 all prayed for the Rt Hon ASK Bagbin and the latter blessed the birthday cake.
