Youth Advocate Hiqmat Sungdeme Saani Urges Younger Generation To Avoid Personality Attack

Youth and Tech advocate, Hiqmat Saani Sungdeme, has urged younger generation in Ghana’s geopolitical space to avoid personality attack in the social media space.

The fast emerging female activist and Tech consultant, pleaded with younger crop of social media to be more constructive even when criticizing.

The full statement made by the versatile youth activist is seen below :

“While engaging with posts on Facebook related to our political landscape, I have noticed a prevalent tendency towards attacking personalities, which I find both uninteresting and uninspiring, to be honest.

As a younger generation eager to actively participate in politics, the continuous barrage of negativity is disheartening. There exists a collective aspiration for a more constructive and uplifting discourse within our political sphere.

We should focus on fostering a culture that promotes substantive discussions and addresses issues rather than resorting to personal attacks.

We can contribute to a more positive and meaningful political environment that resonates with our aspirations for constructive engagement.

Politics and Governance is a beautiful thing, but these ‘attacks and insults’ make it look so ugly to me, and I guess I’m not the only one.
We can do better!!”, Hiqmat shares on Facebook.
