UWR: SPEAKER OF PARLIAMENT BIRTHDAY ORGANIZING COMMITTEE DONATES TO DUNJAGU NURSERY SCHOOL
The organizing committee of the Rt. Hon. Alban S.K Bagbin’s birthday on behalf of the Rt. Hon. Speaker, donated food stuff to the newly opened Dunjagu Community Kindergarten and Day Nursery.
Dunjagu is a small community located between Sombo and Duong and residents pooled their resources together to start the school.
On behalf of the organizing committee, the acting chairman of the NDC in the Nadowli/Kaleo constituency, Hon. Batholomew Nambazing, touted the life-long commitment and contributions of the Rt. Hon. Speaker of Parliament to the improvement of education in the constituency.
He indicated that this gesture meant to keep the legacy of the Speaker and intimated that anytime the committee get more resources, they will support the school to grow to greater heights.
In concluding his statement, the Acting Constituency chairman charged the school authorities to instill the values of discipline, hardwork and determination in the pupil.
As the Holy Book says in Proverbs 22:6, when you teach a child the way he should go, he shall grow up not departing from it…..we are happy that we are living the examplary life of the Speaker…may God keep him for us to learn more from him.”
The food items donated included 3 bags of rice weighing 50Kg each, 1 bag of gari and 10 litres of oil.
Receiving the items, the school management expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Speaker of Parliament, the Organizing Committee and the acting constituency chairman for having the school in mind and for the kind gesture extended to them.
