2021/22 GHPL: Ghanaian Based Company To Sponsor Domestic Topflight

The 2021/22 domestic football season is set to welcome a Ghana based company as one of the lead sponsors less than one week to the commencement of the season, 442gh.com has gathered.

The domestic topflight has been without a headline sponsor for the past few seasons but is set to welcome a new flagship according to the Ghana Football Association reliable sources.

In what is expected to be the most competitive domestic leagues in the 21st century, Ghana football Association is poised to sealing a lucrative deal with an unnamed Ghana-based company as the official partner.

Communication Director for the Ghana Football Association, Henry Asante Twum, confirmed that a number of Ghanaian companies are in contention for the official sponsor of the local league.

“We have opened discussions with some state owned companies and some multinational companies to get one or two on board to support us. Companies have showed interest to sponsor the league but they need to meet our expectations or target You will need not less than $3m to have a complete season”, Henry Asante Twum on Vision1 fm 93.5.

Leadership of the Ghana Football Association will officially announce this new sponsor in the coming weeks as the game-changing Kurt Okraku switches attention to the nation’s top tier.
