Official List: Meet Your MMDCE’s Nominees In Upper West
Ghana’s President HE Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo has officially announced a 11-member MMDCEs list for all administrative districts and Municipalities in the upper west region, homeradionews.com authoritatively reports.
The much anticipated announcement left mixed feelings in the political landscape with some sectors within the NPP endorsing the nominees with excitement.
Home Radio 99.7 FM brings to its teaming audience a detailed list of all 11 nominees across the upper west region led by the viral Wa Municipality.
With three candidates tipped to take over the Wa Municipality, Osman Hamid, Osman Tankari Mohamed and Hon Issahaku Tahiru Moomin headed into the final showdown in a heated tango.
The mantle and spinning pendulum however settled on the incumbent Hon Issahaku Tahiru Moomin for the media-glued Wa Municipality in the official list confirmed by the president.
Regional Communication Director for the New Patriotic Party, Hon Bukari Ali, capped a political trajectory with a place at the Wa West District Assembly. The fast emerging political asset shook off threats from his chasing pack to pick the DCE for Wa West District.
Madam Katherine Lankono, Naadi Imoru Sanda and Madam Christian Bonbanye all kept their seats for the second term in their various districts whiles Dr Suleiman Ewurah Kandia earned his seat at the Wa East District Assembly.
Fuseini Yakubu Batong, Bombaire Martin Domateira,Raymond Nero, Ayisha Batong Hor and George Naluri were handed Sissala East, Lawra Municipal, Nandom Municipal, Sissala West and Lambussie Karni respectively.
The various Assemblies will now have to confirm the nominees for the final appointment letters from HE Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo.
