Upper West : MTN Ghana Celebrates Christmas With Babies Born On Xmas , Donates Assorted Items

Ghana’s largest Telecommunication network MTN Ghana has extended their philanthropic gestures with another donation to children born on Christmas Day across the selected centers in the upper west region.

The annual event saw 18 newly born babies at the upper west regional hospital receiving bumpers with assorted items each.

Each of the package includes diapers, soap, pomade among other items needed by lactating mothers.

At the upper west regional hospital, two women gave birth to a set of twins and were given double package from the Telecom giants with beaming smiles.

Regional Manager, Kofi Owusu, supervised the event under the company of other supporting staff at the regional hospital.

With a quota of 40 beneficiaries, the Xmas train headed to Nadowli and Jirapa where a total of 22 other newly born babies will also receive their share of the philanthropic cake.

MTN Ghana has earned the reputation of supporting community events and social programmes spanning education, health and human empowerment.
